Structure: Products Menu

Purpose:

Create new product itens on the menu located above the internal product page.

 

Step by Step:

1. To create a new item on the menu, access the CMS e go to Manage > Structure > Menus > Products (/admin/structure/menu/manage/products?destination=/admin/structure/menu);

2. Click the "+ New Link" button;

3. Fill the following fields:

Open the "Atribute" accordion.

Make only these changes.

• * Link:

  •      * To create the link to a product, guarantee that the product is already registered on the website;

  •      * Start typing the name of the product, it should appear on the list below the field;

  •      * Select it.

• * Title of the menu link:

  •      * Inform the product's name.

• * Description:

  •      * Inform once again the product's name, but in this case, the name informed will appear when the user puts the mouse above the product (menu item).

• * Target:

  •      * New window (_blank): In this option, the URL will open on a new tab of the browser.

  •      * Same window (_self): In this option, the URL will open on the same tab of the browser that the user is currently in.

• * Product Image:

  •      * Upload the image of the product that will show as a thumb on the menu.

• * Product Title:

  •      * Insert the product's title.

4. After filling the fields above, click the "Save" button.
